Tips for doing up the class banner Monday, November 2, 2009 10:23 PM
To every OGL. Please be reminded that, the cloth that you people are using for your family banner, please do not paint it with poster colour. First of all, I have tried it once, and the poster colour spread in all directions. Also, it may look fine in drawing block, it will look damn pale on the cloth. Secondly, as it is poster colour, it will dripped when you are painting with poster colours. No one wants to dirty any of the place or mess up things just because of the painting am i right? Lastly, even if you paint with the acrylic paint, overcoming the 2 factors I raised earlier on, most likely the colour will not stay.
To ensure nothing goes wrong with your banner painting. I strongly recommend to buy those small canned paint that can be found in bookstores like popular, or if you really want, you guys can try the paint selling shops. Whatever it is, family heads do discuss with your teammates on what to do, and always ensure things your have done (the painting, designs etc.) can be preserved and last for the entire orientation. No one wants their effort to be wasted because of this right? Other than that, I will post regularly should any problems I have noticed. Thank you very much.
