Good Afternoon to all OGLs, this is Andy here posting.
Firstly, OGLs who have NOT submitted your shirt money, PLEASE do so AS SOON AS POSSIBLE and the OGL shirts will arrive next week. Have the initiative to find Wei Bin to submit your shirt money. Handling in your shirt money to us early will help the planning committee to facilitate the smooth flow in our logistics planning. Please do us this small favour.
Secondly, for the family dances, do make the necessary changes to your dance moves/songs based on the comments given during the vetting of your family dances last week. Your Family Dances will be displayed during the inaugural YCSS Nite during the Sec1 Orientation Camp 2010 and i am sure you do not want the sec ones to feel bored after watching the 20min long dances. So do work on that and make use of every single second in the song for your dance moves and practice and perfect them.
Thirdly, OGLs are to attend their own family meetings as many times as you can. Your family heads/Assistant family heads have been planning family meetings tirelessly just to make sure you guys know what to do and for you guys to practice your family dances. Do make full use of these meetings and DO NOT turn up late.
I will be contacting certain groups of OGLs to finalise some things.
If you have not realised, Orientation 2010, will begin in 25days time. Trust us that we will bring you one of the best Orientation you have ever experience next year. But to do so, we will need ALL OF YOUR SUPPORT and commitment during the preparation phrase in order for the Orientation Programme and Camp to run smoothly.
All of your hard work WILL NOT go to waste. Only when we persevere then can we see the fruits of our success.
Always remember the school motto, EFFORTS TODAY, REWARDS TOMORROW.
So, let us just push ahead for the last 25 days of preparation and look forward to the OGL camp before we welcome our new batch of Secondary One students in the year of 2010. Let's work hard to show what YCSS Student Council is capable of!
