OGLs OEI!!!
The 2009 OGL Prep Camp has concluded... And i want to take this CHANCE to thank...
THE COUNCIL TEACHERS, Mr Paul Lim, Mdm Chong, Mr Paul Yeang, Mdm Azlinah, ExCo 09, Advisors, Seniors, Sports Leaders, helpers and... YOU, COUNCILLORS for turning up for the camp!! :D A camp will not be successful without the participation of all of you :).
To me, the camp was really a fun and fulfilling one. Not only have i learnt many new things, i even get to know more of you, councillors, better. It has really been a great 2D1N camp.
There is one event in the camp that really shocked me. Its was during the OGL NITE. It is really pity that the sound system is not able to function well ending up with the night without the music for about 30minutes. However, I am so SURPRISED that ALL of you councillors, can keep the atmosphere going in the AVT even without the music. The cheerings were really the loudest i have ever heard from you guys and even though without the music, its really enjoyable. Also watching all of you councillors having a fun night after a day of hard work, is really memorable. :)
Also at the same time, i do hope that through this OGL Prep Camp, you are able to learn many things about your roles and what is expected of you and how you are suppose to present yourself, at the same time representing YCSS and also YCSC, to the new Sec1 Juniors. Also i hope that the appreciation session, though long, have helped you to learn more about your own abilities, able to appreciate who you are, able to appreciate your fellow councillors who spend the night together with you, and also appreciate your parents more.
Now the preparation stage is coming to an end, we are nearing to year 2010 and ORIENTATION 2010 FAST-FORWARD! Just one more week, and the actual orientation will start.
I would like to say, it is really a complete privilege to be able to attend the OGL Prep Camp 2009 with ALL OF YOU. It is no doubt, one of my most memorable camp.
